  • Javier Barrio is a self-taught photographer with an IT degree.

  • He uses both analogue and digital techniques, is knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe LightRoom 1. and experienced in photo development techniques.

  • He enjoys experimenting with black and white photography exploring its expressiveness in portraits, landscapes and architectural images.

  • His photographs reflect an interest in the diversity of natural, cultural and built environment which he aims to represent in a simple yet unique way.

  • He has participated in seminars in the contemporary museum - ARTIUM - of Vitoria-Gasteiz,with “Photographic Edition Seminar”.

  • He is a member of the Alava Society of Photography and the photographic group "ENLACE " Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.
